This 3 hour weekly class on Wednesdays 6/30 until 8/18
provides hands-on training to build a working robot for Grades 7 and higher. Skills taught will include robotics, electronics
and some computer programming. A roving robot kit will be provided for the entire class to share but each student is
highly encouraged to purchase his/her own kit (~$160.00) to maximize the learning. Final class may include a robot combat session
if there are enough kits.
(2) Math Competition Prep Class:
This 2hr weekly class on Wednesdays 6/30 until 8/18 provides
training and preparation for taking math competition for Grades 4 - 9 (???). Materials will be geared towards Math League
and Math Olympiad competitions. Emphasis is on problem solving and lots and lots of practice. This class will also help to
hone future SAT math skills.

Founded by Dr. De-Yin Jeng in 2004, Jeng Academic Center is an educational institute offering private tutoring services to
students from grades 3 to 12. Subjects taught include English, math, chemistry, and physics during the weekdays and SAT classes
on weekends. Between 2004 and 2007, the services provided were mainly focused on small group lessons, with three to five students
per class, and one-to-one private tutoring lessons.
